The Walled Garden
The Rose garden with over one thousand bushes, the Flower Garden with its maze of pathways and hidden corners and the White Garden that contrasts spectacular, showy, blooms with lush yet subtle silver and grey foliage.
Then there is the extensive Herb Garden, the Organic Vegetable Garden with its unusual varieties and, just outside the walls, the wildflower meadow – a haven of calm and tranquillity.
The Rose Garden
Planted with over one thousand Old English Rose Bushes and framed by long, low, precisely clipped box hedges, the Rose Garden at Loseley Park is one of the finest examples in the country. Indeed, many people time their visit just for the roses, for their colour, scent and setting evoke summer at it’s best.

Speaker Evening – Biodynamic practice
Date:
Time:
Location:
Darshan Robson.
Darshan runs a market garden in Forest Row following Biodynamic practices and will be talking to us about Cosmic Ecology – which I’m guessing is a subject that may be new to many of us.
He is passionate about looking after the natural world, and soil in particular, and he combines this practice with very successful growing results (as Ian and I have personally witnessed).
I am sure he will also be happy to answer any questions you might have at the end of the evening.
Speaker Evening – Scotney Castle
Date:
Time:
Location:
Mr Hamish Bett, the Head Gardener at Scotney Castle will talk to us about his work at this famous local historic house and garden, starting at 8pm.
The garden was created in the late 1830s at the same time as the house allowing the two to work together to create the perfect country home. The then owner, Edward Hussey III, had the vision to transform medieval Scotney Castle from a damp and derelict dwelling into a charming ruin that would become the centrepiece of his romantic and naturalistic landscape.
We will be serving refreshments at the end of the evening and having our usual raffle. Neil may also be bringing some plants with him
